Ollee Owens Delivers on Epic Track “Edge of Goodbye”

With vocal and instrumental talent that combines burning intensity, elegant grace, and skilled composure all wrapped in an electrifying blues rock veneer, Calgary-born Ollee Owens is an unforgettable, emotionally charged musical experience that moves both body and soul, creating a lasting connection through shared experiences and love of good music.

Her blues-y new song, “Edge of Goodbye,” is about how the grass is not always greener on the other side. Mainstream culture often presents altered states of existence that stand outside of reality, leading one to think that what they have is not enough, that who they’re with is not enough which can lead to contemplating leaving all they know for an imaginary better life, when in reality when they can’t see that what they have holds value and meaning.

Owens wanted to create a space for those moments of angst where we find ourselves second guessing our choice of partner. Nobody is perfect and we disappoint each other. Anyone who is in a long-term relationship has been there at some point, wondering to themselves what they were thinking when they got together with this person. This song is all about that “blowing off steam” moment — and once they feel calmer, they realize that what they have is pretty damn good, all things considered.
