Toronto-based rnb/pop singer-songwriter Theo Tams is sharing his brand new ‘two take’ cover of “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles. The understated and coy rendition features Tams’ voice over softly strummed guitar and bass driven piano.
“I wanted there to be a feeling of recognition and nostalgia, but also a bit of mystery,” says Tams of the cover. Tams’ intimate rendition of this much-loved song stretches and flexes his vocal abilities, while emphasizing how profound the most simple lyrics can be.
